I just painted my nails with essie’s pink-a-boo. The left hand is without flash, and the right hand is with it. It’s a super pale pink, and this was three coats. It’s got micro-shimmer bits in it and it’s really pretty. It’s a resort 2012 color and it makes me want to be somewhere warm now!

I want to do some sort of Valentine’s day theme for my nails with these colors. I also dont want to write a six-page paper due Tuesday.
And of course, now that I look at the colors, the pastel purple-y pink and the coral orange-y red won’t be in the mix. So now I’m going to use Zoya’s Hayden, and essie’s Jag-U-Are and Lovie Dovie.
For the record, Lovie Dovie is my favorite nail color ever.

Siblings Think Alike.
So I got my pedi today, and my toesies are a pretty periwinkle blue with sparklies in it. I forget what the color’s called, but it was made by China Glaze.
Hunter got his fencing shoes today, and they also have a similar color.
Basically, my pedicure matches his new fencing shoes. Sibling esp?
I so want to do this to my nails after the recital when they’ve grown out a bit more…

Hmm…maybe it wasn’t the best idea to paint my toes Panda-Monium pink…especially when my feet are almost blindingly white thanks to my permanent sock tan (that is more noticeable thanks to my tennis tan.)
Pastels like that look better with a tan, obviously.
Plus I’ve got some ugly feet, and I’m open to admitting that. I have a huge bunion on my left foot, and a scar from when I had my bunion (and extra bones) removed on my right foot. Thanks genetics, you rock. Especially when you come from my dad’s side of the spectrum!
…and the tiedye from Thursday still hasn’t washed off. I’ve exfoliated, used nail polish remover, and scrubbed it. It won’t come off!
When Pinky Met Sparkly.
I got bored today, and I tried out my essie Lovie Dovie polish with that awesome silver glitter stuff my mom got me at Ulta.
The result was as follows, and I apologize that the picture isn’t exactly the greatest. If I had the Rebel, the detail would have been nicer.
In general, I think it looks awesome. And tacky. And flashy. I love how it looks. I just wish it was flip flop weather outside!
